Take Control of Your Writing Life - Your Time is Now was the call at the opening session of the first Forthwrite Festival for women writers over 50 in Brighton.

In a lively session, writers were encouraged to be proud of their writing and own their creativity, whatever it looks like for them. The two Annas shared their stories and answered the questions why they write, what success looks like for them, the challenges they face and how to find support and community. Participants took part in an exploration of their motivations and there was a huge amount of energy in the room!
